The PS-2850EP APU serves a dual-purpose as an aircraft power supply and battery charger for flight line service and maintenance.
This particular model works with Eclipse E-500 aircraft, which require a maximum output of 29 VDC into the aircraft avionics and furnishes up to 100 amps at 28 VDC. It plugs into the APU connector on the engine cowling and automatically disconnects the battery so that it will not be drained by the servicing process.
