M504 FIXED MOUNT VHF MARINE RADIO (IC-M504A41)

The IC-M504 VHF marine transceiver designed for the rigors of marine. It has a large LCD with dot-matrix characters that allows an easy view of a variety of information. The built-in ITU Class DSC constantly monitors channel 70 and allows easy distress signaling with a dedicated button. With position request and position report the IC-M504 allows its current position to be reported to or requested by other NMEA 0183 compatible systems. Received position data can be transferred to compatible external navigational equipment. The IC-M504 has exceptional resistance to intermodulation allowing it easily catch weak signals amongst other strong stations.

- Excellent receive specifications of 80dB for intermodulation rejection, adjacent channel selectivity, and 0.22µV high sensitivity.
- Superior receiver provides excellent resistance to intermodulation and can catch a weak signal between strong stations.
- Extra-large speaker creates clear and loud reception even over the engine or other background noise.
- When connected to a hailer horn or external speaker announcements can be made on-board from the microphone.
- RX speaker function, “receiver-repeater”, allows monitoring of the received audio.
- Four foghorn patterns are also available for the automatic foghorn.
