Verifying an ELT's ID is easier than ever with the ELT Test Set from ARTEX. Durably constructed with a waterproof case, this device reads 406 Mhz Cospas-Sarsat Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) code via direct connection or wirelessly and displays the beacon ID and all other data on an easy-to-read grayscale LCD screen. In addition, all collected data is automatically saved to a database and time-stamped for reference. This is an efficient means to verify a beacon's ID for registration purposes, owner changes, reprogramming, or reinstallation.
